Commonwealth Trade & Investment Summit 2026: Turning Dialogue into Action
At Mansion House in London, NDX joined heads of state, ministers and business leaders to move the conversation on digital education from ambition to signed commitments.

On 20–21 April 2026, NDX joined heads of state, ministers, investors and business leaders at Mansion House in London for the Commonwealth Trade & Investment Summit (CTIS) 2026. As a supporting partner of the summit, it was a chance to stand alongside global leaders committed to driving meaningful collaboration across the Commonwealth — and to play a role in shaping the conversations that matter for the future of education.
Hosted by Lord Marland, Chairman of CWEIC, the summit convened an exceptional group of political and business leaders, including:
- The Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Commonwealth Secretary-General
- Dame Susan Langley DBE, Lord Mayor of the City of London
- Ian Borg, Deputy Prime Minister of Malta
- Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State
- H.E. Felix Mbayu, Minister of External Relations (Commonwealth), Cameroon
- H.E. Paul Tassong, Minister Delegate in charge of Planning, Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Cameroon
Leaders and delegates travelled from across the globe, reinforcing the scale and relevance of the Commonwealth network — 56 countries, 2.7 billion people, and some of the fastest-growing markets in the world.

From global challenges to practical solutions
This year's theme, "Commonwealth Solutions to Global Challenges," wasn't just rhetoric. The agenda tackled real issues:
- The future of AI
- Sustainable energy transitions
- Infrastructure investment
- Health technologies
- The evolving global financial system
What stood out was the shift from discussion to execution. Closed-door roundtables and direct engagement created space for practical, actionable outcomes — not just policy talk.
Our role: education as infrastructure
For NDX, the focus was clear: education is foundational infrastructure for economic growth. We were proud to showcase our intelligent classroom solutions, backed by real-world case studies — particularly from Cameroon, where AI-supported learning is already transforming classroom outcomes.
But more importantly, we moved beyond showcasing.

Over the two days at Mansion House we were delighted to:
- Welcome regional leaders from across Cameroon, including FEICOM
- Sign five Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs)
- Establish a clear pathway to expand intelligent classroom solutions across the region
That's the kind of progress that matters — turning conversations into commitments.
Why this matters
The Commonwealth has a unique advantage: shared systems, legal frameworks, and a common language for doing business. But potential alone doesn't create impact. Execution does.
What we saw at CTIS 2026 was alignment between:
- Governments ready to invest in future-ready systems
- Private sector partners bringing scalable solutions
- Institutions willing to collaborate across borders

Looking ahead
The opportunity across the Commonwealth is significant — but it will be defined by those who move fastest and think long-term. For NDX, that means continuing to:
- Expand access to AI-supported, intelligent classrooms
- Partner with governments and institutions on national rollouts
- Deliver solutions that scale across regions, languages and curricula
CTIS 2026 wasn't just another event. It was a step toward building the infrastructure — digital, educational and economic — that will define the next decade across the Commonwealth.
